According Maariv, Israel estimates that Hezbollah is not interested in an escalation beyond the current situation following the assasination, on Tuesday evening, of Sami Taleb Abdullah, commander of Hezbollah's Nader Brigade.

Abdullah is the most senior Hezbollah terrorist eliminated so far, which led to a massive firing by Hezbollah of more than 200 missiles towards Israeli cities.

Hezbollah is expected to seek to exact a price in the form of damage to a strategic site, as it has done many times in the current war.
