Today (Tuesday), the Jewish National Fund revealed the extent of the damage done by fires ignited by Hezbollah projectiles, estimating it at twice that of the Second Lebanon War.
According to the JNF's assessment, some 14,000 dunams of land have been damaged or burned as a result of Hezbollah attacks, a significantly larger area than that affected during the Second Lebanon War of 2006.
In existing weather conditions, any fire started by Hezbollah rockets or missiles or drones could consume hundreds and even thousands of dunams worth of brush, pasture, and natural reserves.
