DW: Germany pledges €500 million worth of defense equipment to Ukraine

The equipment will include anti-air ammunition, spare parts and barrels for artillery, and a million rounds of small arms ammo.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius pledged a defense package worth €500 billion (or $547 million) to Ukraine during an unannounced visit to Odessa today (Thursday), according to DW.

Germany has now pledged €500 billion to aid Ukraine's defense against Russia, which will include ammunition and missiles for air and missile defense, spare parts and barrels for artillery, and one million rounds of small arms ammunition.
