Watch: IDF destroys 800 meter long tunnel in central Gaza Strip

The IDF demolished a tunnel overnight which was 800 meters long and 18 meters deep, and which passed close to the Netzarim corridor.

Overnight (Sunday/Monday), forces of the 679th Brigade's combat team worked together with Yahalom combat engineers to destroy a tunnel 800 meters long and 18 meters deep in the central Gaza Strip.

The tunnel was used by Hamas and was located near the corridor area used by the IDF to maneuver within the Gaza Strip.
