Arab countries joined the Palestinian Authority and Hamas in welcoming the International Court of Justice order to cease operations in the southern Gaza Strip.

Arab states welcomed the ruling by the International Court of Justice yesterday, which ordered Israel to cease operations in the southern Gaza Strip, with Saudi Arabia being the last do so, according to a report by Roi Kais of Kann 11 News.

While leaders across the Israeli political spectrum condemned the International Court of Justice's ruling today (Friday) that Israel must cease operations in Rafah and the southern Gaza Strip, Hamas welcomed the decision, according to Sky News Arabia.

Palestinian Authority President Abu Mazen praised the ICJ ruling calling for a halt to IDF operations in Rafah and the southern Gaza Strip, calling the war "general aggression against our people," according to Army Radio.
