State Camp party leader and war cabinet member Benny Gantz sharply criticized the decision of ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan today (Monday) to apply for warrants against Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant.

In a post he wrote on X, Gantz said that "the State of Israel set out on the most just war, after a massacre committed by a terrorist organization against her citizens. The State of Israel is fighting in the most moral way in history, while adhering to international law, and it has an independent and strong legal system.

"Placing the leaders of a state which set out to battle to defend its citizens alongside bloodthirsty terrorists - is moral blindness and harms its obligation and ability to defend its citizens.

"Accepting the position of the prosecutor would be an unforgivable historical crime."
