2 UN workers wounded in Gaza

Israel is investigating the incident.

The IDF spokesman said this morning (Tuesday) that last night a report was received from the United Nations according to which two of the organization's employees were injured in the Rafah region. From a preliminary inspection, it appears that their vehicle was damaged while there was fighting in the area. The movement of the vehicle was unknown to the IDF.

The IDF spokesman also added that according to a report, an employee of the organization was referred for medical treatment at the European Hospital in the Gaza Strip. All the details of the incident are under investigation.
