The honor was given thanks to the effectiveness of Israel's anti-air systems, which have stopped many Hamas and Hezbollah projectiles and stopped Iran's drone and missile attack in April.

Representatives of Israel's major defense companies - Israel Aerospace Industries, Rafael, and Elbit - will light a torch during the Independence Day ceremony tonight (Monday).

According to the Defense Ministry statement, this honor is due to the effectiveness of the anti-air systems the companies provided Israel with, which have stopped many Hamas and Hezbollah attacks and also checked the Iran drone and missile attack in mid-April.
