Just as the ceremonies are about to begin for the 76th Independence Day, the ceremonial authorities announced this evening (Monday) that the ceremony of torchlighting will be moved up and start at precisely 7:31 PM, due to the expansion of the memorial chapter of the ceremony at the Gaza Perimeter, where 12 memorial torches will be lit.

Each memorial torch will take place at different massacre sites, with each being attended by representatives of the local communities and serving as a moment for the whole country to mourn with them.

The final torch will be lit in the Re'im parking lot by communities of bereaved families of those who attended the deadly party. After the lighting, the artistic part of the memorial chapter will take place, including a specially created dance routine by the Vertigo troupe.
