Prime Minister Netanyahu participated this morning (Monday) in the state ceremony commemorating Israel's fallen, at the Hall of Memory on Mount Herzl.

In his speech he said: "In the beginning of the current war, we knew endless acts of sacrifice, stories of heroism, and expressions of solidarity which will be remembered for generations," Netanyahu said. "We are determined to win this struggle. We exacted and will exact a price from the enemy. We will realize the goals of victory: returning our hostages, a victory which ensures our future or existence. It's us, Israel or them, the monsters of Hamas."

"At the personal level - there is no succor for the pain. Can there be succor at the national level? The answer is yes. Today, we have the Sword of David in our hands, and we are fighting back with full strength. The War of Independence has not yet ended; it continues in these times."

The Postcard

The Prime Minister presented a postcard sent to him by bereaved parents, printed at the Beeri press, on which they wrote: "Don't listen to anyone trying to prevent us from protecting our nation."
