New details about have emerged about Prime Minister Netanyahu's conversation with US President Biden last Monday. The American president reportedly warned Netanyahu that the United States would stop arms shipments to the IDF if Israel entered the city of Rafah. According to sources privy to the details, Netanyahu replied: "If we have to, we will fight with our fingernails."

During the conversation, Biden expressed his concern regarding the operation due to the city's large civilian population - despite Netanyahu's promise that the operation would not be carried out before a civilian evacuation took place. Nevertheless, Biden strongly opposed the move.

In an interview with the CNN network, Biden said last night that Washington will not send weapons to Israel if it leads a large-scale invasion of Rafah. According to him, "Civilians were killed in Gaza because of these bombs and because of other ways they harm population concentrations. I made it clear that if they enter Rafah - and they haven't entered Rafah yet - I will not supply them with weapons that they used in the past to attack the cities."
