Journalist Barak Ravid reported that according to two senior Israeli officials, the American administration delayed a shipment of weapons destined for Israel last week. According to the publication, this is the first time that an American shipment of weapons to Israel has been delayed.

After the publication in Walla, journalist Yuna Leibzon of Channel 12 quoted another Israeli source according to whom security shipments from the United States are continuing, and that while it is possible that one such shipment was delayed, the general flow continues and Israel is not aware of a change in American policy.

Prime Minister Netanyahu met with Holocaust survivors who lit the memorial torch last night. "We met Izzy Cavillo, a 96-year-old Holocaust survivor from Yugoslavia," Netanyahu said. "He told us about the horrors that happened to him, his family, and friends. Izzy told us: "The State of Israel today is the one and only refuge for the Jewish people." Michael Bar On, another survivor who lit a memorial torch, told us: "The promises of Gentiles are not to be trusted."

Netanyahu added: "These heroic survivors are right. During the Holocaust there were great world leaders who stood idly by, so the first lesson is this: if we don't protect ourselves - no one will do it for us. And if we have to stand alone - we will. Therefore, we will protect ourselves in every way, overcome our enemies, and ensure our safety - in the Gaza Strip, on the northern border, everywhere."
