This decision comes after the most recent convening of the cabinets was suddenly cancelled, likely due to the expected arrival of Anthony Blinken in Israel and Minister Gantz's injury that day.
It has now been announced that the war cabinet will convene at 6:30 PM, with the extended cabinet convening immediately afterward at 8:30 PM.
The two cabinets are expected to discuss the negotiations over a hostage deal with Hamas, based on the conditions now on the table. Operational plans to enter Rafah are also expected to be discussed, given the increasingly weakening Israeli bargaining position vis-a-vis Hamas.
