Israel-Gaza War, Itamar Ben Gvir

Ben Gvir threatens: Netanyahu knows what will happen if we cancel Rafah operation

Ben Gvir said that in a meeting with Netanyahu, he clarified his opposition to an unfavorable deal with Hamas that would end the war or cancel the military operation in Rafah.

Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir referred to a meeting he had with Prime Minister Netanyahu today (Tuesday) in which he said he warned Netanyahu about the consequences of canceling a ground operation in Rafah and making a "bad" deal with Hamas, according to which only 20 of the 133 hostages would be freed in return for hundreds of Palestinian terrorists and the return of Hamas operatives to northern Gaza.

"I finished a meeting with the Prime Minister at my request," said the minister, "I warned him of what would happen if God forbid Israel does not enter Rafah, ends the war, and makes an unfavorable deal with Hamas."

"The Prime Minister heard what I had to say and promised that Israel would enter Rafah, continue the war effort, and avoid making a bad deal. I welcome this. I think the Prime Minister understands very well what would happen if these things don't take place," pointed out Ben Gvir.
