A recently released poll by Harvard/Harris, conducted towards the end of April, shows increasingly robust support for Israel in its war against Hamas.

Fully 80% support Israel in its war against Hamas, 67% believe it is doing its best to minimize civilian casualties, and 72% support an operation in Rafah even if it means more casualties. Moreover, these numbers include majorities across all age groups, including those aged 18-24.

Furthermore, a majority of voters in both parties (68% Dem, 67% GOP, 62% Independent/Other) support Israel being formally invited to join NATO, and a similar if smaller majority (63% Dem, 62% GOP) support the United States pushing Nato to invite Israel into NATO to deter attacks by Iran.

Regarding foreign aid, Israel is the only country receiving a major aid package from Congress (the other two being Ukraine and Taiwan) which has 50% support from GOP voters.

Respondents are also equally split on whether Hamas' reported casualty numbers are accurate or exaggerated, with 51% saying they are accurate and 49% saying they are not.
