CNN reporter Jake Tapper posted a WhatsApp message on X today (Sunday) by Rabbi Elie Buechler, director of the OU chapter at Columbia/Barnard, informing over 250 students that neither university nor city authorities could guarantee their safety and that they should go home until things improve.

Meanwhile, Jews fleeing radical and pro-terrorism protests on Columbia's campus were met with protestors outside chanting antisemitic slogans such as "Go Back to Poland."
