After a video was published showing hundreds of Gazans swimming at the beach in central Gaza, Minister of Internal Security Itamar Ben Gvir attacked the War Cabinet and claimed that, "our enemies are raising their heads because they smell weakness."

"In Gaza - pictures of thousands bathing on the beach. In the North, Hezbollah saw that the cabinet was not responding to the [Iranian] attack, so it raised its head and took a step that cost us wounded soldiers."

Ben Gvir also wrote: "The time has come to dismantle the cabinet, put an end to the policy of proportionality, and show our enemies that [we have lost our patience]." As long as the cabinet continues upholding the current policy, absolute victory will continue to move farther and farther away from us."
