The Defense Ministry's Rehabilitation Department published (Wednesday) the numbers on those wounded or disabled by the war.

From the beginning of the war on October 7 to today, some 7,209 wounded have been processed by the Rehabilitation Department. 95% of them are reservists aged 30 and under. 30% of the those wounded developed various psychological responses. For 1,227 of them, psychological trauma is the main injury they suffered in the war.

Due to the expectation of increased risk factors for those dealing with psychological ailments and responses in the coming weeks, especially during Passover and Memorial Day, the department is operating a 24/7 hotline for those suffering and their families for immediate aid.

Designated rehabilitation farms have also been established to operate throughout the country, from morning until evening, with professional accompaniment. Personal contacts are also assigned to injured soldiers and will be available on their personal phone for the injured and their families."אנחנו מעניקים טיפול לפצועים בשונה ממה שהיה בעבר"
