According to foreign reports, Israel carried out an unprecedented strike against an Iranian target in Syria tonight (Monday), which was used by Iran’s IRGC Quds Force, just a few meters from the Iranian embassy in Syria.

According to a number of reports, many were injured in the strike on the structure and at least six were eliminated on the spot – including, according to foreign reports, IRGC official Mohammad Reza Zahedi and IRGC General Haj Rahimi, deputy commander of Quds Force.

Commentators believe that the strike could be an Israeli response to the drone attacks against the Eilat region and the nearby naval base.
