After being wholly devoted to serving the IDF's tactical needs in the Gaza Strip operations and the border war in the north, the Air Force is now restarting exercises to prepare for a possible full-scale war with Hezbollah.

The exercises include rapid tactical decision making and contingency plans, as well as snap tests for the various units to test readiness.

The IDF states that the exercises have been arranged so as not to harm operations in the south and coordination with the ground forces.
