Report: 12 Gazans drowned trying to salvage aid packages

The Palestinians were killed when they tried to salvage the American aid packages from the sea and drowned. Earlier in the month, 5 were killed when aid parachutes landed on them.

After about a month ago, US aid packages landed on five Gazans, crushing them to death. Today (Tuesday) the Americans were again responsible for the deaths of Gazan civilians when US aid packages fell into the depths of the Mediterranean Sea and about 12 individuals attempted to salvage the goods.

On social networks in Gaza, residents shared that some of the aid packages fell on people's heads, while others ended up in the sea. Apparently, some of the people who were standing on the beach decided to try and reach the packages, but were unable to and ended up drowning.

As you recall, the US began dropping humanitarian aid shipments in southern Gaza with Israel's support. The aid shipments were dropped by three Hercules C-130 aircraft, carrying about 66 pallets and 38,000 meals.

The American action came after Biden promised that the US would join Jordan in dropping supplies to residents of Gaza. The decision followed American claims of an increasing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the low amount of aid coming in from Israel.
