As JFeed reported on Thursday, the government unanimously approved (Sunday) an memorial day for the victims of October 7 and the fallen in the war.

The memorial day will take place on the 24th of the Hebrew month of Tishrei, a few days after its historical occurrence on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. It will involve a ceremony in memory of the fallen in the war at 11:00 AM and one in memory of the massacred at 1:00 PM.

In addition, on a one time basis, the country will mark one year since the massacre on the civil date of October 7.
