The IDF spokesman confirmed today (Tuesday) that fighter jets recently attacked two military bases belonging to Hezbollah in the Baalbek area deep in Lebanese territory.

In addition, a military structure in the Al-Hiyam area and a terrorist infrastructure in Bint Jbeil were attacked earlier in the day. The attacks were carried out in response to the launches carried out by Hezbollah towards the north of the country this morning, when according to Hezbollah, over 100 rockets were fired at villages in the Golan Heights.

This is the second time that an Israeli attack deep in Lebanon has been reported in the last 24 hours, after Hezbollah compounds were attacked about 100 km from the border with Israel last night. The IDF claimed that the attacks were carried out in response to Hezbollah drones targeting the Golan Heights during the last few days.
