Binyamin Netanyahu, Joe Biden

Netanyahu blasts Biden: You can't defend our right to exist and prevent us from destroying Hamas

In lieu of reports that Biden is trying to topple Netanyahu's government despite the war in Gaza, the Prime Minister attacked his American counterpart and demanded answers.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu criticized President Biden at the AIPAC conference, pointing out that it is impossible to both support Israel's right to defend itself and work against it, or support the destruction of Hamas and not allow it at the same time.

At the beginning of his remarks he referred to the continuation of the war. "Israel will win this war, no matter what. In order to win this war we must destroy the remaining terror battalions of Hamas in Rafah," said the Prime Minister.

Netanyahu proceeded to criticize Biden. "I say to our friends in the international community: You cannot say you support Israel's goal of destroying Hamas, and then oppose Israel when it takes the actions necessary to achieve that goal."

"You cannot say that you oppose Hamas' strategy of using civilians as human shields, and then blame Israel for the civilian casualties that are the result of this Hamas strategy."

"Our victory is at hand. I know that the vast majority of the American people stand with us," concluded Netanyahu.
