IDF reveals: Hezbollah's death toll much higher than advertised

After a day of hard fighting on the Lebanese border and severe criticism of the IDF, the Israeli army revealed just how many Hezbollah operatives it kills every day.

The IDF spokesman published an update regarding the Hezbollah death toll following the heaviest single day of fighting since the beginning of the war in Gaza. Since the morning, more than a hundred missiles and rockets have been fired at Israel.

The IDF spokesman announced that throughout the five months of war, the IDF has attacked Hezbollah strongholds on a daily basis, eroding the organization's power far beyond what has been revealed thus far: "For the past five months, we have been striking Hezbollah's infrastructure, commanders, and capabilities every day," he was quoted as saying. According to data from the IDF spokesman, since the beginning of the war in Gaza and the start of fighting in the North, the IDF and IAF have attacked approximately 4,500 Hezbollah targets.

In addition, the IDF revealed that although the terrorist organization has only announced about 240 casualties, Israel believes that this number is much higher, reaching as many as 300 terrorists eliminated, and at least another 750 left injured as a result of the strikes.

According to the IDF spokesman, over 1,200 Hezbollah targets have been attacked by the Air Force, and over 3,000 more targets have been struck by artillery and ground forces such as tanks and precision missiles.

The IDF explained that the intense and continuous attacks in the North are harming Hezbollah's combat capabilities when it comes to air, ground and command centers, that the IDF understands the difficulties faced by residents of northern Israel, and is working to push Hezbollah's forces away from the border, wearing them down as much as possible.
