The IDF’s Charedi Netzach Yehudah Battalion raided the Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip for the first time. The battalion, operating under the Gaza Division’s northern brigade, conducted raids and worked to kill terrorists and destroy enemy infrastructures. The soldiers destroyed anti-tank launch and observation positions, tunnel shafts, and killed terrorists.

A month ago, Interior Minister Moshe Arbel sent Netzach Yehudah Association Director Yossi Levi a letter saying: “I invite you to make use of me and my office staff for assistance in anything required for the sake of the mission. There is no doubt that your holy work is incomparably important and sanctifies the name of Heaven. On your shoulders rests the mission to zealously protect the right and duty to preserve our way of life as fearing the word of God throughout the entire army service.”

The Charedi battalion has taken an active part in the current war and has operated throughout the Gaza Strip. Already 24 hours after the murderous Hamas attack on October 7, the IDF struck powerfully in Haza and hit some 120 targets throughout Beit Hanoun from the air.
