Report: Rocket fragments land in Kiryat Shmonah, causing property damage

The Police said they were securing the area and called on residents to stay away. No casualties have been reported.

A rocket or rocket fragments landed in Kiryat Shmonah a short time ago (Tuesday), causing property damage but no reported casualties.

Magen David Adom reported that they are conducting sweeps in areas where landings were reported.

The Israel Police stated that it was isolating the relevant landing scenes with bomb squad personnel and warned the public to stay away for their own safety. They also warned residents to not touch or approach rocket fragments, as they may still contain explosive material.

The Israel Fire and Rescue Services published footage of the projectile hitting the city:
