Against the background of the tensions between Prime Minister Netanyahu and MKs Gallant and Gantz regarding the conscription law, head of Yisrael Beytenu, Avigdor Liberman, claimed this morning (Sunday) that the current government has reached its end. "It is unable to lead the country with three members unable to come forward with one message," he was quoted as saying.

Last Wednesday, Gallant said that the conscription law should receive the approval of all components of the coalition and thus issued an ultimatum to Netanyahu.

The next day, Netanyahu responded to Gallant during a press conference and claimed that it is possible to achieve a settlement despite the differences. According to him, "We will set goals for the recruitment of charedim to the IDF, but one thing is clear - it is impossible to achieve absolute agreement."
