Fighting continues in the north: IDF fighter planes struck a launcher earlier today (Wednesday) used to attack the area of Kiryat Shmonah this morning. A number of Hezbollah terrorist infrastructures were also attacked in the areas of Bint Jbeil, a-Saki, and Yarine in southern Lebanon.
The IDF Spokesperson stated that “following warnings in the western Galilee area, a number of launches from Lebanon into Israeli territory were identified. Some fell in Lebanese territory and the rest in open areas in Israeli territory. There were no casualties.”
This morning, some 10 launches were identified from Lebanese territory towards the Galilee Panhandle, with one projectile hitting a nine-story building in Kiryat Shmonah. Air defense forces intercepted a number of projectiles successfully. Later, Hamas’ military wing in Lebanon took responsibility for launching 40 Grad rockets at the Galilee Panhandle.”
In response to the launches, the IDF struck a weapons depot and manufacturing site in the Ramyah area of southern Lebanon. In addition, a Hezbollah weapons manufacturing site in the Khirbet Selm area was also destroyed.
