Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu responded today (Tuesday) to criticism by President Biden implying his government was too conservative and losing international support. Netanyahu quoted a recent Harvard-Harris poll showing that 82% of the American public, or roughly four of five Americans, support Israel over Hamas.

The Prime Minister said that "I have been leading a diplomatic campaign to block pressure designed to end the war prematurely, and to secure strong support for Israel" and that the poll results "will help us continue the campaign until total victory."

In the poll, Americans' response to the question, "Who do you support more in this conflict - Israel or Hamas?" showed fully 82% answering Israel with just 18% being for Hamas.

Broken down into age groups, the numbers are as follows: 72% for 18-24, 66% for 25-34, 75% for 35-44%, 83% for 45-54, 92% for 55-64, and 94% for those aged 65 and above.
