IAF fighter jets attacked Hezbollah targets deep in Lebanon a short time ago (Monday), at a distance of 80 kilometers from Israel's border in a Shiite-controlled area known for being home to Hezbollah training.
Yesterday, Hezbollah operatives Hussein al-Dirani from Qsarnaba and Ahmed al-Afi from Brital in the Baalbek District were eliminated in air raids attributed to Israel.
Earlier in the day, Lebanese media reported the downing of an Israeli Hermes 450 UAV by an anti-aircraft missile. At the same time, the Iron Dome intercepted a surface-to-air missile in the Jezreel Valley area.
The IDF stated: "Air defenses this morning intercepted a surface-to-air missile launched at a remotely manned IDF aircraft that was operating in the skies of Lebanon using the David's Sling system. A warning of rocket and missile fire was activated in the Alon Tavor area following the launch of the interceptor. No casualties were recorded in the incident."
