Watch: Hamas terrorists try to escape Khan Yunis disguised as civilians

Soldiers from the 7th Brigade detained terrorists who tried to escape under the guise of the civilian population as the IDF continues intense fighting in western Khan Yunis, Zeitoun, and central Gaza.

Soldiers from the 7th Brigade Combat Team continue fighting in western Khan Yunis. Over the past day, a number of terrorists who tried to escape under the guise of being evacuated alongside the civilian population were taken into custody. Other terrorists were eliminated and weapons caches located in the area.

Soldiers of the Givati Brigade continued to raid terrorist targets and found numerous weapons caches, including snipers, a Kalashnikov-type rifle, grenades, and cartridges. The 98th division detected a terrorist squad operating a drone in the Shati area before sending in an aircraft to liquidate the threat.

In the center of the Strip, the Nahal Brigade eliminated a number of terrorists over the past day. In the Zeitoun area, the Nahal Brigade's combat team located weapons and destroyed rocket launch sites.

The Air Force carried out several attacks, hitting Hamas targets including a number of rocket launch sites, designated for firing missiles at Israel.
