Israel's participation in Eurovision 2024 "in doubt" 

The publication and release of the Israeli song for Eurovision has been delayed in recent days following the demand of the European Broadcasting Union to ensure that it does not contain political messages and statements. The Israeli broadcasting corporation Kann, which is responsible for broadcasting the competition and sending the Israeli representative Eden Golan, made it clear that they do not plan to replace the song and change its lyrics.

So far, the European Broadcasting Union has supported Israel's participation in the competition. After many calls around the world to boycott Israel from the contest following the war, the Broadcasting Union published an announcement that Israel will take part in Eurovision because the contest is not political, and that the request to verify that the song does not contain political messages is not an unusual request for Israel, and has been in the contest regulations for several years.
