Terrorist who murdered Rabbi Binyamin Ze'ev Kahane and his wife (H"YD) dies in prison

Kahled Jamal Musa Shawish, head of the Tanzim in Ramallah died yesterday in the hospital. The circumstances of the death are being investigated.

Arch terrorist Kahled Jamal Musa Shawish, who was serving his sentence in the Nafha prison, was taken to Assaf Harofeh Hospital yesterday (Tuesday), and pronounced dead later in the day.

Jamal, a 53-year-old resident of Jenin, was the head of the Tanzim in Ramallah during the Second Intifada and is responsible for a series of murders including the shooting death of Rabbi Binyamin Kahane and his wife Talia on December 31, 2000 near the settlement of Ofra.

Jamal was wanted in Israel and was finally arrested in 2007 before being given 10 life sentences in jail.
