Health Ministry to investigate handling and care of wounded on October 7

As part of an effort to learn lessons from the events of October 7, the Health Ministry has launched a committee to examine the effectiveness of care and evacuation of the wounded in the Hamas attack.

The Health Ministry announced today (Sunday) that a committee has been established to look into all aspects of provision of care for and evacuation of the wounded during the October 7 massacre by Hamas.

According to the statement, the committee, led by Health Ministry Director-General Nachman Asch, will be examining the functioning and coordination of medical teams, as well as care, screening and triage for wounded victims, and methods of evacuating the wounded.

The public has been asked to provide any information it considers pertinent by the end of the month of February 29, and there is an option for submitting information anonymously.
