Gazan journalist Ismail Abu Amr, who broadcast from Nir Oz on October 7th, was seriously injured yesterday (Tuesday) as a result of a targeted assassination attempt by the IDF in northern Rafah while riding a motorcycle.

As a result of the injury, he was taken to the European Hospital in Gaza where he lost at least one of his legs.

Al Jazeera officially admitted that Ismail Abu Amr works on its behalf.

On Monday, a telephone referendum was held between members of the government, who approved a law according to which a foreign broadcast channel that is declared to be a threat to State security will have its broadcasts stopped and its offices in Israel closed. The bill will allow the closure of Al Jazeera in Israel.
