Explosion in Syria (IDF Spokesman)
Syrian media reported on an airstrike allegedly carried out by Israel in the Deir ez-Zur area, a well-known smuggling route for the Iranians and the Revolutionary Guards yesterday (Tuesday). Syrian networks reported that a number of explosions were heard in eastern Syria as a result of an Israeli attack on a truck convoy.
The strike reportedly targeted trucks that were carrying equipment and ammunition towards Hezbollah bases in Lebanon, in addition to other Shia militias in the area.
This is not the first time that Israel has attacked truck convoys carrying weapons intended for Hezbollah along this route.
