Terrorist eliminated after trying to run over soldiers 

The IDF detained 18 wanted terrorists during overnight raids in Judea and Samaria, also rounding up weapons caches.

The IDF detained 18 wanted terrorists throughout Judea and Samaria last night. During the operation, weapons caches were confiscated. No injuries were reported to our forces.

In Jenin, an engineering brigade uncovered shafts presumably used to construct explosives. The IDF said that three terrorists were apprehended and weapons confiscated.

In Qalqilya, seven wanted terrorists were apprehended and more weapons uncovered. During the operation, a terrorist tried to run over soldiers, who fired back, killing him on the spot.

An additional two suspects were detained in the town of Silwad northeast of Ramallah, and thousands of shekels allegedly earmarked for terrorist activity were confiscated.

Weapons were further confiscated in the village of Huwara as well as Hebron.

It was also reported that IDF soldiers interrogated dozens of suspects, and arrested an additional eight terrorists at the direction of the Shin Bet, confiscating weapons and military equipment during a 9-hour operation in Kfar A-Ram northeast of Jerusalem.

According to the IDF spokesman, since the beginning of the war in Gaza, approximately 3,100 wanted terrorists have been detained in Judea and Samaria; over 1,350 of whom are associated with the Hamas terrorist group.
