IDF Eliminates Hundreds of Terrorists, Captures Dozens in Divisional Raid in Northern Gaza

The 162nd Division conducted a targeted, division-level raid into Gaza City last week, killing hundreds of terrorists, capturing dozens, and seizing large amounts of weaponry.

Brig.-Gen. Itzik Cohen, commander of the 162nd Division, said that "this is an area where we needed three divisions to reach it at the beginning of the maneuver, and it took us three days to get there. Now, we needed two combat teams, who reached the same area within an hour and a half. The forces under the division are preventing Hamas from rebuilding its capabilities, eliminating hundreds of terrorists and arresting dozens more."
