Iranian media outlets reported today that Saeed Alidadi, a senior IRGC advisor, was killed in a strike in Damascus attributed to Israel.
According to reports, the strike took place in the early morning hours in the Aqraba area near Damascus, and was aimed at an IRGC HQ in the area and other pro-Iranian milita targets.
At the same time, residents of the area reported that explosions were heard in Damascus, and the Syrian opposition reported that three militiamen were killed in the incident – including an Iranian and Iraqi citizen. They also claimed that Alidadi was an expert in developing drones and guided missiles, and was in the area to prepare an ammunition truck meant for Hezbollah in Lebanon.
