In a sign of confidence in the progress of the IDF in diminishing the threat posed by Hamas in Gaza, the IDF Rear Command issued new instructions today (Thursday) regarding the ability of residents to assemble, work, and go to school in areas near the Gaza border.

Per the instructions, aside from ten settlements particularly close to the border such as Nir Oz and Kerem Shalom, residents of the Gaza Perimeter can now assemble up to 100 people in open areas and 300 in closed ones, as well as work or go to school in buildings with a nearby safe area that's up to standard.

The rest of the country outside the conflict areas in the north and south can now go about their business freely.
