Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited the Bnei David mechina in the settlement of Eli, and addressed reports of various deals on the agenda.
According to Netanyahu, “This is not ‘another round,’ not another exchange of blows, not another operation – complete victory. Nothing less than that. I am committed to it, our soldiers are committed to it, and the absolute majority of the nation is committed to it. We will not compromise on less than absolute victory.”
“I hear statements about all kinds of deals, so I want to make clear: we will not end this war with less than achieving all its goals. That means eliminating Hamas, returning all our hostages, and ensuring that Gaza will no longer be a threat to Israel. We will not remove the IDF from the Gaza Strip and we will not free thousands of terrorists. All this will not happen. What will happen? Total victory!”
The deal discussed recently in Paris at the meeting of the Mossad director, the CIA director, the Egyptian Intelligence Director, and the Prime Minister of Qatar included a 45-day truce in exchange for 35 hostages in the first stage. 100-250 terrorists would be exchanged for each hostage, including murderers – 4000-5000 in total – and increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza.
