A document outlining the specific goals of Hamas' propaganda effort against Israeli society was revealed today (Monday) on Channel 12 News by reporter Amit Segal.

The document, seized by IDF forces from a location where Hamas commander Yahya Sinwar was present, is handwritten and was likely drawn up by a senior Hamas leader. It proposes hammering home the following points:

- Continue spreading pictures clips of the hostages to increase psychological pressure

- Do everything to increase psychological pressure on (Defense Minister) Gallant

- Continue the line that (Prime Minister) Netanyahu is responsible for everything that happened

- Damage the Israeli narrative that the ground operation serves the purpose of returning the hostages

Regarding the Gallant point, Segal commented that this suggests Hamas has singled the Defense Minister out as a particularly hawkish part of the Israeli leadership who needs to be weakened.
