IDF and Shin Bet Spokesperson Announce Elimination of Terrorists

IDF soldiers continue to operate in the area of the Gaza Strip in cooperation with the Air Force, which carries out precise strikes at ground troops’ direction. Naval forces are also helping ground forces with bombardments from the sea.

Yesterday, Wa’al Abu Panuna, the deputy head of Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s media arm, was eliminated by an air strike led by Southern Command and at the direction of the intelligence branch and the Shin Bet.

As part of his job, Abu Panuna served in the past as an aid to Khalil Bahtani, PIJ’s commander of the Northern Strip District. Since 2017, he was worked as the deputy head of the organization’s media arm. Abu Panuna was responsible for putting out terrorist organization clips covering fire towards Israel and on creating and distributing documentation of the hostages in order to engage in psychological warfare against Israel and its citizens.
