A new threat to Israel? Iran-backed Shiite militias claim to have fired a cruise missile at Israel. This claim has not yet been confirmed from other sources.

According to the organizations, “in furtherance of our approach of opposition to the occupation, and support for our people in Gaza, the Mujahidin of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq struck a vital target at the center of the Zionist entity, using a long range (advanced cruise) missile), in previous days. The Islamic opposition confirms that it will continue to destroy enemy bastions, and we promise you more.”

The IRGC has meantime taken responsibility for launching ballistic missiles and drones aimed at basis and command posts belonging to the Jaish ul-Adl organization in Pakistan, a day after an extensive IRGC strike in Iraqi Kurdistan which they claim struck Mossad bases. The Iranians also targeted American bases in Iraq.
