Senior Israeli Source: The Idea That the Americans Believe Bibi is Extending the War Over Politics is "Nonsense"

A senior political source speaking to N12 News reporter Amit Segal said that the idea that the American administration believes Prime Minister Netanyahu is deliberately extending the war to ensure his political survival is "nonsense."

The source noted that Secretary of State Blinken himself had been present at war cabinet meetings where Netanyahu rival Gantz and IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi both said the war would take months and even years.

This comment comes against the background of increasing reports in major American outlets such as Axios regarding President Biden and his staff's increasing frustration with Netanyahu on various issues regarding the conduct of the war.
