Released for Publication:  Master Sgt. (Res.) Dan Wajdenbaum from Ra'anana was killed in battle in Gaza

It was released for publication that Master Sgt. (Res.) Dan Wajdenbaum, 24 years old, from Ra'anana, a fighter in the 5037th Battalion, the ('Yiftah') 11th Brigade, was killed yesterday in a battle in the center of the Gaza Strip.

This brought the total number of IDF casualties in the current war to 521. May their memory be blessed

It was also said that a reserve officer from the 7155th Battalion, 55th Paratroopers Brigade - "Hod Ha-Hanit/Spearhead" (Res.), was seriously injured yesterday in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

In addition, a fighter in the 646th Paratroopers Brigade (Res.) and an officer from the 605th Engineering Battalion, 188th "Barak" (Lightning) Armored Brigade, were seriously injured yesterday in various battles in the center of the Gaza Strip. The fighters were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital, their families were informed.
