After a week of quiet, the shooting into the center resumed this evening (Monday) when red alert sirens were heard in the cities of Gush Dan and the Shfela. Among others, alarms were heard in Rehovot, Rishon LeZion, Holon, Be'er Ya'akov, and Nes Ziona.
MDA stated that at this stage no calls about casualties were received. MDA teams went out to search several places where reports of falls were received.
This is the first time rockets have been fired at the center in more than a week. The previous barrage to the center was registered on the night of the new civil year - when Hamas launched about 20 rockets from the Gaza Strip towards Tel Aviv, Rishon LeZion and Modi'in exactly at midnight.
