Dozens of reservists who were released from service in the Gaza Strip and in the war effort set up the reservist camp in front of the Prime Minister's office. The reservists demand to persist in fighting and announced "no stopping until it is decisive". Dozens of soldiers and reservists called on all those released from the reserves to join.

After being released from reservist service in the fighting in the Gaza Strip and the entire war effort, including fighters and reservists who had served continuously since October 7th or since the beginning of the ground campaign, the reservists went to Jerusalem, where they set up a protest tent in front of the Prime Minister's offices calling for the fighting not to stop until Hamas is defeated and until victory in the Gaza Strip.

In addition, the reservists called for the adoption of significant plans for the day after the fighting, and called on the government and the prime minister to implement a "clear policy of encouraging voluntary immigration" and joined the call of Knesset members Hanoch Milwidsky, Danny Danon, Moshe Saada, Yitzhak Kreuzer and Minister Amichai Chikli who spoke directly on the issue. The reservists also called that Hamas must pay a price for its actions and that on the day after victory in the Gaza Strip, "a significant area will be taken from the Gaza Strip and transferred to the control of the State of Israel."

The Protesters:

Captain in the Reserves Omer Paciniash explained why she felt the need to take part in the initiative, and in the establishment of the camp of the reservists: "All the solutions that the political echelon is currently offering are ineffective solutions, which will lead us exactly to where we were on the sixth of October. We go in, fight, get killed, get out, the enemy reorganizes – and we are attacked again."

Capt. in the reserves Paciniash added and referred to the reports of defensive plans planned by the government and the security establishment: "I must say that I see what is happening in the Gaza Strip envelope, I see signage announcing 10-meter-high shields, on roads and highways, so if you claim that you are going to overthrow Hamas and fight until the end, why do you protect us like this? Why do you give us more protections and more solutions that only show how much the enemy has the legitimacy to strengthen and attack us again? Why are we not ready to break this concept and prepare a policy that is new and contributes to the security of the State of Israel?"

A Major in the reserves, Gilad, who is also one of the founders of the encampment, also explained: "We are a group of reservists, we have finished fighting in the Gaza Strip and in the north, we are not willing to go home without ending this campaign with victory. For us, a decisive victory is not an empty slogan. We cannot end this campaign like the previous rounds. It will not be Operation Protective Edge and Operation Cast Lead, we are going to sleep here, until the government makes the right decisions."

Gilad went on to express his gratitude for the support they receive, and called on all reservists to join: "We want to say thank you to all the members of the Knesset, to the bereaved citizens and parents who come here to hear us and sympathize, and secondly, we call on all the reservists who are now being released from war not to go home The campaign is not over, now we are committed to maintaining our achievements thanks to the tremendous sacrifice, come here with the equipment and stay with us until the government comes to its senses."
