An Israeli delegation is expected to arrive in Cairo this evening (Monday) in order to discuss the outline of a new deal for the release of hostages, the Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat, published in London, reported today.
According to the outline, about 40 abductees will be released including adults, sick, wounded, women, children and teenagers in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian terrorists. It was also reported that as part of the deal, there will be a complete ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for a period of three weeks to a month.
Israel will withdraw its forces from the Gaza Strip
It was also reported that, as part of the negotiations between the parties, the amount of food, medicine and fuel that will enter the Gaza Strip will be increased along with the return of Gazan refugees to the north of the Gaza Strip. It was also noted that as part of the talks, the possibility will arise that Israel will withdraw its forces from the Gaza Strip to the border.
According to the Saudi newspaper, terrorists defined as "senior prisoners" will not be released, but in the future they may be released as part of an overall deal.
